Shoes, and books. What a great combination. And I don't understand why apple.com is taking ages to load. I want/need to know whether Snow Leopard is any good.
So guess what, as of 44 minutes ago, the clock just struck 12 and hey, its Friday. The weekend is here, yet again :)) I feel that I haven't been to uni, yet that's where I spent the whole day at. I'm not sure whether I just made any sense (I guess not). To cut it short, I guess I kind of miss hanging out at Union House. Well, its the fasting month, so there really isn't any reason to be loitering around there. I even had to miss Festival of Nations, that is in conjunction with Diversity Week. Other than gorging on the food, which was impossible due to Ramadan, I really wanted to leave a note in 'What people don't know about my country.'
On Tuesday, as I was having my tutorial, QQ bbm me this.
No, she wasn't the one who posted that note, of course. She told me there were a whole lot of interesting comments that people made. I wanted to put up something like this - 'Don't be shocked, but there are Malays in Singapore. Not only Chinese. So if you come across a Malay, do not just ask this straightaway, "Malaysian?". Because that shows you judged the person before even speaking to him/her. "Where are you from?" would be much more polite.'
Ooh, angsty. Can't blame me. 'Cos I get that, like ALOT. What is Malay, anyway? Technically, if you ask me, my race is not exactly Malay since both my grandparents - maternal & paternal, came from Indonesia.
