HELLO FEBRUARY.

I know I've been saying that I will be updating this blog on a regular basis, since last year.. which never happened.

2015 has been somewhat a busy year. I finally got married to Afiq after 12 years of trials and tribulations. Which will continue into our marriagehood, I believe, because let's face it. Nothing is perfect in this world. But so far everything's been great!

2016 will be another great year and I'm really praying that everything goes well..

#AIgothitched is finally a wrap. Stay tuned to the next hashtag ;)

HELLO, OCTOBER.

It's been such a long, long time since I've blogged! It even came to a point where my domain has expired, though I am sure I have renewed it but I supposed it didn't go through. Getting back the same domain is going to be totally not worth the money - so till I find something new, I am just going to live without it for awhile.

In other news, life has been pretty busy lately. Everything seems to be going well this year. I don't want to jinx this good feeling that I'm having.. 2013 has been a year of mostly uncertainties. With every down, I can only hope for my next up and I am hoping this is it. I've been truly blessed thus far, and really.. Alhamdulillah for all the good things that have come my way.

An hour and eight minutes ago, I turned 28. Two years shy of the big 30. Four hours ago, I decided to start on a new K drama and after watching im for a few minutes, the scenes and happenings caused me to reflect on one of the major turning point in my life. That was my serious break-up with CMT.

We have been together for a long time and just like anything that's old, it had the tendency to break any moment due to it being overused, overworked.. you get my drift. I remembered contemplating about the break-up for quite a while. I returned to Singapore, tried hard to pick my life here where I left off. Most importantly, gain employment and hopefully it was something that I like. Things didn't go well. Relationship-wise, it didn't go well either. CMT was busy with his camp stuffs and I felt that he just wasn't there for me. Something from what I watched just now struck me. "We were together, but I just felt lonely."

In early 2011, we broke up - but 9 months later, somehow we decided to give the remnants of whatever feelings we have left for each other another shot. It wasn't easy at all. But I am reallt thankful that both of us were serious on making things work this time. Fast forward to 3 years later, here we are - engaged to be married.

More than a decade of being together, I'm glad we went through what we went through. Yes?, both the good and the bad. Even the extreme ones. Every squabble or fight we had was a lesson learnt. About each other, the people and things around us.

I'm not sure whether CMT will ever read this - considering how long my blog has been stagnant. But I hope he knows how thankful I am to him for not giving up on me and on us. And I couldn't ask for a better person to journey the rest of life with.

Here's to me being 28!

WEEKEND TRIP.

That much awaited weekend came and gone. I may have irritated my friends because when we arrived,  I went on about how the weekends just going to zoom past just like that. Same theory as my *insert whichever month* is going to end whenever we have passed the one week mark.

All I had was my trusted GS3 and I was too busy soaking in the sun moment that I did not take much pictures.

FLU BUG.

So much love for CMT that I voluntarily caught the flu bug from him - We exchanged our dishes because it was too spicy for him.

ONE STEP CLOSER.

Apologies for the lack of updates! It has been a hectic 2014 so far with loads of new things coming up. Firstly, me and cmt finally got engaged last weekend on 19th January. It was a small family affair and despite one major hiccup, which managed to be solved in the end, everything else went well. Alhamdulillah.

I can't wait to get the official pictures from my cousin's friend and cmt's colleague.

LINE CONVERT

How I wish most of my contacts will make a move to Line from Whatsapp! I recently converted even though I've had the app since God knows when after Nad managed to convince me. Well, the stickers are the main reason for my move. Yes, the stickers! If Whatsapp decides to have a similar function then I'd probably stay on but that doesn't seem to be the case for now.

So far I've succeeded in converting the sis and cmt to Line users and both are enjoying the app, especially cmt. We walked past a shop celling mobile accessories and I pointed out some Line characters' casing. Despite being the one who first introduced him to the app, I actually forgot the characters name. I was like, "Eh bi, look! That's the Line characters!", as I was pointing to the casing. He just went, "Oh, that's Brown." "And the bunny!", I said. And he went, "You mean Cony?".

And then he went on to tell me facts about the characters - the duck is called Sally (yet to verify this!) and Brown only has one expression so he conveys his feelings through his actions.

Wow.

A short manga featuring some of the Line characters.

Impromptu.

What a fulfilling Friday it has been. I didn't have school today so I decided to get fabric for my mini project. I really hope it goes well and I'm pretty excited about it. Shall reveal it here soon. Met cmt  and decided to sketch. Soon after, Bal came and we had an episode with the infamous pigeons of Liat Towers. They were crazy as usual, and despite how I am a usual patron there, I can never get used to them pigeons. I repeat, never.

And then that's when our impromptu-ness started. It all started with "Let's watch Iron Man 3!", but we had to scrape the idea because tickets were either sold out or only the horrible seats are left. We had time to kill while waiting for Nad to knock off from work. Decided to just stay at Liat and continue with our sketches, and then Bal came up with the idea to head down to Basheer. I had wanted to go there anyway to compare some book prices, plus cmt wanted to check out some art materials. By then, we already decided to have dinner at Tong Seng and meet Nad there.

But upon leaving Bras Basah Complex, somehow we changed our minds and picked Nad up to head down to Gluttons By The Bay instead where we ended up having 40 sticks of satay, reminiscing over our schooling days. GEEZ.

Decided to walk over to the nearby Marina Bay Sands where we caught Wonderfull - the water and light show. It was my first time catching the full show and I was amazed.. with the bubbles. Then I started pondering on how they are able to sustain having a couple of shows every night without fail and realized, oh well, obviously they could do it because it's a casino for God's sake.

Part Two: Stopover for desserts at Beanstro. Bad move to have sat near the kitchen because we were enticed with the incoming plates of glorious food. Also discovered that The Art of Brick Exhibition has been extended to 26th May. Earlier on, I was really disappointed when Nad told me it was over. I guess it must have been fate. Walked back to Esplanade where a free concert was starting so we stayed around for awhile. Turns out the guy was a contestant from The Final One. I can't remember the last time I actually tuned in to Channel 5, so have no idea whether that new reality show is any good.

The usual spot. To chill and charge our handphones. LOL.

Weekend.

The usual four went slightly crazy last weekend. We probably reached JB close to 11 and immediately ordered breakfast while the guys bought the movie tickets. Ate in less than 30 minutes as the first movie was at 11.30 am. First up was Oz and I've got to admit, minus the brilliant digital effects and all, the storyline was somewhat lacking to me. I tried hard to stay awake for the first hour of the movie, to the point that I got a headache after that. Honestly, it was only when Oz and the villagers prepared for the battle did I get a little excited. Cmt was totally knocked out 99% of the movie.

Had a heavy lunch at Vivo before we continued with our second movie, The Croods. It was a great one. The three of us kept laughing while Cmt continued his sleepfest. The fact that we managed to stay awake despite the heavy lunch was a major feat.

Oh and such a stellar day wouldn't be complete without a jam going back home, of course.

contd.

So, before I forget whatever I did aside from the raya festivities, here goes.

Managed to pay USS a visit thanks to cmt :) Halfway through, we decided its much more fun going together with the peeps. Not that we did not have fun at all, but honestly, the more the merrier !

Of course, there were the random meetups with the usual peeps. Plenty of Liat SB goss session with the bff, Noi. The moment I stepped into Liat - affirmation that I really don't fancy the new layout (already decided on not fancying it judging from the pictures I saw even before I touched down Singapore), BUT BUT BUT, I somehow got used to it. It has this whole communal feel to it, and it has somewhat become a more conducive place to study. Even the crowd at Liat is different now. More students (with laptops), more working class people, none rowdy M&Ms. I guess they've flocked someplace else. Because I went there almost everyday (I am not kidding, haha), I safely came to this conclusion.

Wished I had taken more pics during the 2 weeks stint, but most of the time I was busy talking rather than snapping pictures. Bal was the one snapping most of the pics during our meetups and it was not a wonder that most of the pics of me, I had this super full-on talking/discussing face/expression.

Yep. See what I mean? Haha. Crap.. I miss Liat SB already :/ What I do best with the peeps. MAKAN.

What we do (the second) best : TWEET.

Okay. Miss the company of you peeps already :(

We even managed to catch the F1 on its final day, where Mariah Carey performed - and yes, her infamous fall.

It was a fun night - I was dead tired even before the night ended because we actually had jalan raya with the peeps earlier in the day. Totally zonked out when I reached home.

Finally, the last batch of pictures comes from missing boy's graduation parade. Me and QQ missed his POP earlier this year, so we were ecstatic that we're able to make it for this one.

Can't believe it. He's all grown up now. ORDing next year, and then uni. Omg. I am getting old.
