“Gardens by the Bay brings to life NParks' vision of creating a City in a Garden. The Gardens captures the essence of Singapore as the premier tropical Garden City with the perfect environment in which to live and work - making Singapore a leading global city of the 21st century.”
Gardens by the Bay was officially opened to the public on 29th June, with a concert by Jason Mraz (which I missed, on purpose). The next week, I decided to give the Gardens a visit, but much to my disappointment, the weather was not on my side. I did go anyhow, and as expected the place was packed with tourists. Not a surprise there since this has got to be a standard situation for anything new that pops up in Singapore.
Honestly, it was a very short visit, due to the drizzle and the crowd. We figured we should come back another time for a proper visit, which includes going to the Conservatories. I wouldn’t want to pay admission fees and having to squeeze with a whole bunch of people.
Since we only managed to cover Supertree Grove, hence the limited amount of pictures. The next visit would most probably be when all the craze has simmered down.
Your blog is very interesting to read, thank you. I like your style of drawing too :)
