Seoul - New Year's Eve and 2010.

For the past few years, I've been spending NYE the same way. A late night movie after watching the fireworks. When we welcomed 2009, we broke the tradition by singing till the wee hours of morning. And then I thought, I am getting too old for this, and truth be told, me and the sis have been playing around with the idea of spending new year's overseas for a while now.

So we did. Headed to Everland, an amusement park, in the day and at night, me and the sibs ventured out by ourselves to Gwanghwamun square. I really regretted not ice-skating on that night, because the night we planned to ice-skate, it snowed heavily, thus the rink was closed :( We welcomed 2010 in the cold, -14 degrees. Honestly, I could not do anything much, and I felt pretty sick but I did not want to spoil the night, so I just hang on.

The next morning, we practically had to drag ourselves out of bed for our ski trip.
