Seoul part uno

I'm going to make up for all the lost time here. First of all, Happy 2010. I know I'm like more than a week late! The last few days of 2009 have been a blast, and I think we are going to make it a point to be overseas on NYE. I supposed a lot of things have happened in 2009, both good and bad, but I choose to remember the good ones.

Arrived at Incheon airport at about 4 plus in the afternoon on the 28th of December. Even before we stepped onto the Korean soil/snow, my brother went missing at the airport. We all thought he was walking behind my father. He later admitted to me that he was actually too happy when he saw snow, that he forgot about everything else that he just went ahead on the travelator, and when he came to his senses, he realised that we were not there. Me and the sis was at the ladies, and Paps, I am not exactly sure how he had missed my brother. Anyway, we found him waiting for us at the immigration. Honestly, thank God he is 18 and not 8.

And the rest of the days were spent discovering Seoul, traveling by the subway, which I must say is the best way to travel if you want to see just the locals and no tourists. No joke. Yes, we got stares, because we are probably the only foreigners they saw in the subway, but their stares aren't intimidating. It snowed 3 times when we were there. Pretty lucky, I must say. Took so many pictures over a span of 8 days.
Some snippets of the first two days.
