Waking up so early on a Sunday morning isn't something that one would love to do but I was excited for this experience. Rehearsal started at 9 and lasted for two hours. I finally met my model in person and boy, I was really lucky that she's blessed with good skin. We started applying their make-up after lunch and honestly, it didn't even feel like a competition because everyone was just having fun.
That's me trying to style W's hair!

The event was sponsored by Bourjois, and truth me told, I have not heard of their brand till I went for the course. What a noob! I really love their eyeshadow, especially the Smoky eyes trio eyeshadow.

The highlight of the day was me and W winning second in the competition. I did not expect to win this as I came with the intention to just have fun. But no doubt the cash prize would definitely come in handy for Project D. Thank you to cmt (he told me he couldn't make it and I was so surprised to see him!, Nad and Bal for coming down to support me.
All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I am glad to be a part of it. Not only did my appreciation for make-up grew but I ended up loving make-up more as well! Not to forget the friendships made on that day.
